01 - 4 slices sourdough or Italian bread
02 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
03 - 4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
04 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

05 - 1 medium ripe tomato, thinly sliced
06 - 8 fresh basil leaves, torn
→ Sauces & Seasonings
07 - 4 tablespoons pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
08 - 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
09 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
# Directions:
01 - Spread butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
02 - Place two bread slices buttered side down on a cutting board.
03 - Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each bread slice.
04 - Arrange mozzarella slices, tomato slices, and torn basil leaves over the sauce.
05 - Sprinkle Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, salt, and pepper evenly over the layers.
06 - Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up, to form sandwiches.
07 - Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2 minutes.
08 - Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary.
09 - Air fry sandwiches for 4 minutes.
10 - Flip sandwiches and air fry for an additional 4 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
11 - Allow sandwiches to cool slightly, slice, and serve immediately.
