08 - 12 wooden skewers (6 inches)
09 - 1 tablespoon honey or nut butter (optional)
# Directions:
01 - Wash and thoroughly dry all fruit components.
02 - Slice a small flat section off each grape and strawberry to ensure they sit flush together on the skewer.
03 - Thread one banana slice onto the bottom of each skewer to serve as the base.
04 - Place a mandarin orange segment above the banana slice to represent the feet.
05 - Slide a grape onto the skewer to form the penguin’s body.
06 - Add a strawberry with the flat side facing the grape to create the belly.
07 - Place a blueberry on top of the strawberry to form the head.
08 - Using a small amount of honey or nut butter, adhere two mini chocolate chips or sesame seeds onto each blueberry as eyes.
09 - Insert a small carrot triangle below the eyes to resemble a beak; alternatively, use an orange sprinkle.
10 - Arrange all skewers upright on a serving platter to showcase the playful penguin figures.
