Creamy oats blended with fresh strawberries and topped with graham crumble for a delicious chilled breakfast.

# Ingredients:

→ Base Mixture

01 - 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
02 - 1 cup milk, dairy or plant-based
03 - 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
04 - 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
05 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
06 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
07 - Pinch of salt

→ Strawberry Layer

08 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
09 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
10 - 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey

→ Graham Crumble

11 - 2 graham crackers, crushed into approximately 1/4 cup crumbs
12 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
13 - 1 teaspoon brown sugar

# Directions:

01 - In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together oats, milk, Greek yogurt, softened cream cheese, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and thoroughly combined.
02 - Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours to allow oats to soften and flavors to fully develop.
03 - In a small bowl, toss diced strawberries with lemon juice and maple syrup. Cover and refrigerate until ready to assemble.
04 - Combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and brown sugar in a small bowl. Mix until the texture resembles wet sand. Set aside.
05 - Layer the chilled oat base and strawberry mixture in jars or bowls. Top with graham cracker crumble immediately before serving to maintain crunchiness.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Zero cooking involved, which means your kitchen stays cool and your morning stays relaxed, even on rushed days.
  • It tastes indulgent enough to feel like cheesecake but packed with protein to actually keep you full until lunch.
  • The contrast between creamy oats and that buttery graham crumble crunch is the kind of textural surprise that makes breakfast feel special.
02 -
  • Soften your cream cheese before mixing or you'll end up with little chunks that refuse to incorporate no matter how hard you whisk, trust me on this one.
  • Add the graham crumble at the very last second before eating because butter makes it soft, and soft graham crumble is basically just graham flavored mush.
03 -
  • Use softened cream cheese, not straight from the fridge, and whisk it in first before adding the other wet ingredients so it actually incorporates smoothly.
  • The strawberries release their own juice overnight, so don't add them to the oat base or everything gets soggy and one-note; keep them separate and layer them in just before eating.
