02 - 8 slices bacon, halved crosswise

# Directions:

01 - Set the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Make a small slit in each date and remove the pit if not already pitted.
03 - Fill each date with about half a teaspoon of cream cheese and insert one walnut half inside.
04 - Gently press the dates closed around the filling.
05 - Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
06 - Place the bacon-wrapped dates seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
07 - Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, turning halfway through, until the bacon is crisp and golden.
08 - Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
