→ Decorations

07 - 6 small clear plastic cups
08 - 6 large marshmallows for bunny cheeks
09 - 12 mini marshmallows for bunny noses
10 - 12 small candy eyes
11 - 12 pink jellybeans or pink chocolate candies for noses
12 - 12 white paper cupcake liners for bunny ears
13 - Black edible marker for whiskers and mouth

# Directions:

01 - Wash and prepare all fruits as directed. Combine strawberries, green grapes, blueberries, pineapple, and optional banana and kiwi in a large mixing bowl.
02 - Evenly divide the mixed fruit mixture into 6 small clear plastic cups, distributing colors and varieties uniformly.
03 - Position two large marshmallows on the front of each cup for cheeks. Place a mini marshmallow or pink candy between the cheeks for the nose. Attach candy eyes above the cheeks using a small dab of honey or icing as adhesive. Use the edible marker to draw whiskers and a small mouth on the marshmallows.
04 - Fold each paper cupcake liner in half and cut into ear shapes. Tape or glue two ears to the back inside rim of each cup so they extend upward.
05 - Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 4 hours before serving.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Kids will actually eat their fruit when it has a face and floppy ears attached.
  • You can prep them in under 20 minutes without any cooking, which means no oven stress during holiday chaos.
  • They're naturally colorful, vegetarian, and gluten-free if you choose your candies carefully.
02 -
  • If your candy eyes won't stick with honey alone, use a tiny bit of white icing or frosting—it acts like glue without changing the taste.
  • Don't assemble these more than four hours before serving, because the marshmallows will start to harden and the fruit will release moisture that softens the cup bottom.
03 -
  • Draw the whiskers and mouth while the edible marker is wet so the lines stay vibrant and don't fade as they dry.
  • Use slightly chilled fruit straight from the fridge and assemble the bunnies no earlier than two hours before serving to keep everything crisp and prevent the cups from getting soggy.
