Easy Christmas Grilled Cheese (Print)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread

01 - 8 slices soft white sandwich bread, crusts removed

→ Cheese

02 - 8 slices cheddar cheese or preferred melting cheese

→ For Cooking

03 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

→ Optional for Serving

04 - 1/2 cup marinara sauce or tomato soup, warmed

# Directions:

01 - Use a rolling pin to flatten each bread slice until thin.
02 - Place one slice of cheese on each flattened bread slice.
03 - Roll up each bread slice tightly around the cheese, pressing to seal the edge.
04 - Brush the outside of each rollup lightly with softened butter.
05 - Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
06 - Place rollups seam-side down in the skillet and cook 2–3 minutes per side until all sides are golden and cheese is melted.
07 - Remove rollups from the skillet and let cool slightly.
08 - Serve warm, optionally with marinara sauce or tomato soup for dipping.
